Rationale
The Food and Drink Policy is designed to provide a litter-free environment by encouraging recycling and appropriate waste management and housekeeping measures.
The Policy
Food & Beverages
Food and beverages can be consumed in all public and study locations except in Archival and Special Collections. Deliveries of food are not permitted except for authorized meetings, conference workshops etc.
Recycling
Please recycle all paper and waste materials in the appropriate containers stationed throughout the Library. Please dispose of all trash properly and report spills or leftover refuse to staff for cleanup.
Cooperation
Please exercise care when consuming food or beverages and observe the Library's recycling policy in order to prevent damage to books, equipment, furnishings, and carpets.
