Data and GIS Librarian

Advances the educational enterprise of the University and the mandate of the Library by enhancing learning through the provision of expertise, leadership, services and resources that support academic objectives and foster lifelong learning. This team' s goals are to design and deliver a range of supplemental, integrated and embedded services to meet the articulated needs of students in learning, writing, numeracy, technology, and information, data and spatial literacies, and to enhance student engagement, retention and the timely completion of programs. The team also provides core services for the Learning Commons.

What I Can Do for You

Faculty and students using the Data Resource Centre (DRC), which is a central repository for statistical / numerical and geospatial data collections available on campus, may contact me with any questions pertaining to library resources and services. I offer various services in support of teaching, learning and research, such as:

  • Research instruction and assistance
  • Developing collections and resources to support courses and research
