We assist and instruct users in finding information, recommending sources for research, suggesting research strategies and helping users navigate a wide array of electronic and print resources using a range of in-person, on phone, chat, IM, and one-on-one consultations.

Who We Are

We

  • Are knowledgeable, skilled staff who are client focused, team oriented, and committed to excellence in service.
  • Receive ongoing training to maintain and improve our skills in order to meet the ever changing needs of the information world and our users.
  • Listen to our users and deliver courteous, patient, and unbiased assistance and directions with their research and information needs.
  • Guide users to appropriate resources. This includes appropriate referrals.
  • Instruct information retrieval and evaluation skills to individual users (information literacy).
  • Are knowledgeable of the library's resources.
