
Learning Peer Helpers offer workshops by request to student groups and students in residence. Workshops fall under a few broad categories but can be tailored to each individual group. Click on an image to see the workshops Learning Services offers.
Topics include reducing procrastination, organizing your time effectively, and creating a schedule or study plan that will work for you.
Topics include effective strategies on taking notes, reading large amounts of information, and putting it all together when studying for midterms and finals.
The focus of this workshop is last-minute study strategies when you don't have enough time to study everything as thoroughly as you would like to.
Possible topics addressed during the workshop include time management, specific study strategies to enhance learning, and exam-writing strategies for multiple choice, short answer, and/or essay questions.
Is there an art to understanding multiple choice questions? We share strategies about preparing for and writing multiple choice exams in a variety of disciplines and programs.
Learning Services offers many workshops in the Library throughout the semester and you are welcome to bring your students to them. Please check Reg for dates and details about workshops offered.
Workshops by request may be available on Mondays to Thursdays at 5:30 or 6pm, depending on Peer availability. Other times might be available as well. Most workshops last 30-40 minutes.
