CentreStage fonds

Established in 1970 as part of the Toronto Arts Foundation, chaired by Mavor Moore, the company was originally called Toronto Arts Productions and renamed CentreStage in 1983. Performing in the St. Lawrence Centre, CentreStage had a succession of prominent artistic directors, including Leon Major and Bill Glassco. CentreStage merged with Toronto Free Theatre in 1988 to form the Canadian Stage Co. The fonds contains production, publicity, and administrative files of CentreStage, Forum Music, and the Theatre Hour Company.
