Study Groups at Guelph

  • Study Groups at Guelph is an online bulletin board created to help connect U of G students seeking to study with other University of Guelph students. Create your own study group or see if there are already study groups for your courses.

Supported Learning Groups (SLGs)

  • SLGs are peer-led study sessions that help students connect what to learn with how to learn in a university setting.
  • SLGs are offered in 12 different first-year courses — you'll be able to discuss difficult concepts, prepare for tests and exams, and get to know other students in your class. Visit the SLG Web site for the latest listing of SLG session times and locations.

Writing Assistance

  • For free drop-in help, visit Writing Central on the 1st floor of the library for a 20 min. session with a graduate student TA— no appointment necessary! See the Writing Central webpage for times.
  • Free one-hour appointments are also available with staff writing consultants and Writing Peer Helpers. Appointments can be booked online.
