Personal Equipment (lamps, electronic, computer) must bear the CSA approved symbol. Library Facilities staff will check that equipment complies with this fire code restriction. Failure to comply with this restriction may result in the removal of the equipment by Library staff to a secure location.
Glass panels are installed in offices as a security precaution. These panels must not be covered over; Library staff will remove coverings.

Assignees may not transfer the key to another individual without the approval of the Circulation and Interlibrary Services desk. Failure to comply with this policy will result in the termination of the assignment.
Assignees are expected to vacate a study office at the end of the assignment period. If an assignee has not vacated an office 1 week after the assignment end date, the Library will remove and secure all materials/items in a separate location.
As a courtesy to others waiting for a study office, assignees are asked to notify the Circulation and Interlibrary services desk of any early termination of a booking assignment.
As a security precaution, please report a lost key promptly to the Circulation and Interlibrary Services desk. The applicable re-keying charge will be posted to the assignee's patron record.
Food and drink are permitted in study offices. Please dispose of waste in the appropriate office container. Please report spills to the Circulation and Interlibrary services desk or email .
The Study Office Procedures & Policies will be reviewed annually to ensure that they continue to meet the needs of users. The Senate Library Committee will be consulted and can provide input and advice to the review process.
