Geospatial Data Resources

Text Size: S M L XL

The Data Resource Centre (DRC) maintains a large collection of geospatial data. Our holdings include local, provincial, national and international data with the main focus on Canadian data. Geospatial data is provided by local municipalities, conservation authorities, provincial and federal government and private industry. Sample sources include the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Statistics Canada, Natural Resources Canada and the Grand River Conservation Authority. To access the geospatial data collection, follow the geospatial data by category or geospatial data by provider links on the left or visit the DRC's new GIS Metadata server at http://www.uoguelph.ca/gisdata.

For more information on the collection, file formats, or how to use the data, please visit the DRC from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday or contact us by email at
