Description

Land Information Ontario i allows users to search for geospatial data sets that cover all or part of Ontario. As a member of the Ontario Geospatial Data Exchange the University of Guelph Community has access to many data held in the warehouse.

At present natural resource, environmental and geologic themes dominate the approximately 140 layers of data contained in the warehouse. This composition is expected to change as more of LIO's stakeholders migrate their holdings to the facility.

Format

If the data is available as part of the University subscription the data will be sent by ftp or on CD (if larger than 300 MG).

Access to Metadata

Land Information Ontario
Records are returned on a printable Metadata Detail Page showing all information necessary to make an accurate judgement as to whether or not the information is what you are looking for. Data maybe available as part of the University's subscription to LIO.
