In spring 2002, Teranet Enterprises Inc., the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), and the Ontario Government (the Ministry of Natural Resources) reached an agreement to gather information about Ontario's estimated four million land parcels and bring this knowledge together into a standardized digital database the Ontario Parcel database.
Description
The Ontario Parcel database contains boundaries, assigned civic addresses and identifiers such as assessment roll number (ARN) or property identification number (PIN), which can link to ownership, and assessed value information for each individual property, or parcel of land, in Ontario.
This dataset (minus ownership names and assessed value information) was provided to the Library by Teranet Incorporated in December 2004.

Shape: Contains OP Ownership GIS data is ESRI shape format.
DWG: Contains OP Ownership CAD data in AutoCad DWG v2000 format.

To access this data, please come to the Data Resource Centre located on the lower level of the Library between 8:30 and 4:30, Monday to Friday.
