Paper index covering 1979-1983. Citations and abstracts to microfiche collection of all federal
and provincial/territorial depository publications; hard to find non-depository publications
issued by hundreds of Canadian federal, provincial / territorial and municipal government agencies and
departments; scientific and technical report literature issued by research institutes and government
laboratories; policy, social, economic, and political reports; Statistics Canada monographs and
serials; theses and dissertations from Canadian universities.

Provides selected libraries across Canada with copies of Federal government publications. The

Includes Library of Parliament Research Branch publications originally prepared for general
distribution to Canadian Parliamentarians to provide background and analysis of issues that may

- Index to Federal Royal Commissions
This index provides author and keyword access to materials associated with more than 200 federal Royal
Commissions that have taken place since Confederation. There are approximately 6800 items in the index that
includes commission reports, briefs, submissions, evidence, working papers and other documents.
- National Library of Canada
The Electronic Collection of the National Library of Canada (NLC) consists of Canadian books
and periodicals published online. It includes more than 3,000 titles published by both the commercial
publishing sector and the government publishing sector.
