Retrieval

Annex materials which are permitted to circulate may be charged out directly from the Annex, or may be retrieved from the Annex upon request and charged out from one of the TUG libraries.

To request the retrieval of an Annex book or journal volume for delivery to the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, or University of Guelph Library, borrowers registered with any one of the TUG libraries should place a hold/recall using the Primo system. Users who are not registered TUG borrowers may request the retrieval of Annex materials through a Circulation Desk.

To obtain a copy of an article from a journal located in the Annex, borrowers registered with any one of the TUG libraries may make a TUGdoc request. Articles will be mailed to campus p.o. boxes or departments, or delivered to the TUG library location specified on the TUGdoc form.

Books and journal volumes requested from the Annex are normally delivered to the requested pick-up location by mid-afternoon on the following weekday.

Journal articles sent to Library locations should be available for pickup at the designated Circulation Desk within 3 business days; articles requested for delivery to campus mailing addresses may take more than 3 days to arrive.
