Request a Research Skills Session

Text Size: S M L XL

The Library has a dedicated group of instructional librarians focused specifically on providing in-class research skills sessions upon request.

In order for you to take advantage of this service for your classes, there are three things to keep in mind:

  • Bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis; the earlier you request a session, the greater the likelihood your request can be accommodated. To ensure both instructor and space availability, two weeks' notice is required to arrange a session
  • Within three working days you will be contacted by phone or e-mail by an instructional librarian, to confirm the date, time, and content of your session
  • Please consider scheduling your research skills session close to the time when your students will begin working on a research assignment (an assignment that requires them to use the library's resources). Students will better retain the content provided in these sessions if the skills are immediately applied to a current assignment

To request a research skills session, please complete and submit the form below. If you have any questions, please contact the information literacy team at

Please fill in all applicable fields. Those with a * must be filled in to properly accommodate your request.
