Email Address:

As the Open Educational Resources Librarian, I provide support for faculty members and instructors who are interested in switching up their course materials to resources that are more open and affordable. The support that I provide includes (but is not limited to):

  • Assisting with finding, curating, and evaluating open materials for existing or proposed courses
  • Explaining and interpreting licensing (including open licenses such as Creative Commons), copyright and intellectual property
  • Assisting with the migration of self-created textbooks, course notes, or other curriculum materials into more accessible, open formats for wider impact
  • Providing assistance and suggestions for the adaptation or creation of open content (textbooks, videos, question banks, etc.)

My research interests include precarious labour, diversity and equity in open education, and the library leadership industrial complex.
