Use the Interlibrary loans service, RACER, to obtain items not available in the Omni network.
Interlibrary loan services are free to current University of Guelph students, staff, and faculty. However, there are some items which may incur a fee. We will notify you if the item you are requesting has a fee.
This service is not available to retirees, alumni, community borrowers, or reciprocal borrowers.
Please note: overdue fines on Interlibrary loans accrue at $1/day, with no maximum.

If a digital copy exists and if licensing permits, we will email you a link to a digital copy. Otherwise, a paper copy will be provided. Find more information at the Application of the Fair Dealing Policy for Universities to Library Copying (PDF - 21kb).
Interlibrary loans (RACER) continue to be available online for electronic articles only, although with some delays. We will email you PDFs of the requested articles once they are available. While we cannot process requests for print materials, you can book an online appointment for research support.
