Reel to reel tapes and transcripts of oral histories recorded and collected by Allan Anderson. Allan Anderson was born in Calgary, raised in the West, and educated in Quebec. He later lived on a farm in Tottenham, Ont. until his death. His main career was with CBC Radio. His first oral history collection "Remembering the Farm", published in 1977, was a collection of stories from every province. Two other oral histories followed: "Salt Water, Fresh Water" in 1979 and Roughnecks and Wildcatters" in 1981. "Greetings From Canada", his prized collection of Edwardian post cards, was turned into a book in 1978, and his last book was "Remembering Leacock" in 1983.
