Title of resource: Food Science & Technology Abstracts (FSTA)
Cost of resource: $21,107 USD/yr
Reasons for cancellation:
Cost: This resource is expensive, especially considering it is only an index to the literature and does not include full-text content.
Overlap: While the database indexes quality material of great interest to Guelph researchers, other databases have comparable subject coverage of the literature.
Usage: Guelph users have examined only three records from FSTA in the past year, strongly indicating that researchers are searching elsewhere for the food science literature.
Date access will cease: October 1, 2017

CAB Direct: International coverage of applied life sciences, especially with respect to agriculture and sustainability.
