Control Academic Stress

Each semester the library offers a series of workshops designed to help students at U of G manage with academic stress and workload. This semester, there are three workshops being offered to students in the Control Academic Stress workshop series.

  1. Procrastination and Perfectionism: This workshop will help students understand the links between procrastination and perfectionism, identify strategies to decrease procrastination, and learn techniques for managing perfectionism. This workshop is happening on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
  2. Planning and Prioritizing: This workshop will teach students practical planning and prioritizing strategies to help achieve a better school-work-life balance. It will also review tools to use for short-term and long-term planning and strategies for self-care. This workshop is happening on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
  3. Coping with Exam Anxiety: This workshop is for anyone who feels stress and anxiety during and leading up to tests and exams. At the workshop, we will discuss strategies to help students cope with exam anxiety while preparing for exams. This workshop is happening on Tuesday, March 26. 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
