OVC Library Services Move to McLaughlin Library May 1, 2016

The University of Guelph Library has maintained a small reserve collection at the Ontario Veterinary College’s (OVC) main building in the OVC Learning Commons, accessible via the OVC Learning Commons Circulation Desk.

The services provided at the OVC Learning Commons currently include:

  • A small reserve collection
  • Interlibrary loan and holds pick-up
  • Book return services

Due to a steady decline in the use of these services as well as a continued growth in electronic resources and reserves, the Library has decided to withdraw the remaining reserve collection from the OVC Learning Commons and close the OVC Circulation Desk effective Friday, April 29, 2016.
OVC Reserve materials, interlibrary loan and all print holds will be available for pick-up at McLaughlin Library beginning on May 1, 2016.  OVC instructors who require assistance to place their course materials on reserve should contact our E-Learning & Reserves team.

We look forward to serving the needs of OVC students, faculty and staff with the same dedication to service excellence that has always been a part of the University of Guelph Library tradition.
