The future is online, and this includes new and innovative ways to consume media. Did you know that Canada has the second highest infiltration rate of streaming video services worldwide, after the United States? It’s true, and the library is committed to embracing these technological advancements.

The library provides access to a variety of streaming media content. We provide the U of G community with films and documentaries through various streaming platforms like Film on Demand, Kanopy, and Docuseek2. The library also has created a variety of online resources on a number of subjects including topics like thinking critically about data, how to read a book at a university level, and narrowing a research topic. These resources also include databases, journal articles and more and are available any time, anywhere, for free.
