As we approach exam season, the library begins to fill up faster and faster as students prepare for finals. This time of year can be difficult, and as such the library has created a series of workshops designed to help ease academic stress.
This semester, workshops begin on November 6, 2019 and finish on November 20, 2019. The workshops cover the following topics: procrastination and perfectionism, learning from failure, coping with exam anxiety, and prioritizing and planning. The Control Academic Stress workshops provide students with strategies for achieving school-work-life balance, making time for self-care, coping with anxiety while preparing for exams, and so much more.
The library also offers appointments throughout the year where students can receive confidential, individualized support on all of the topics discussed in the Control Academic Stress series.
