Researchers often share their data as part of the research process. There are many benefits to researchers when data is shared. There are also benefits to the broader community and underlying reasons why sharing data generated from research should be considered.
Government – All levels of government are committed to open data initiatives. International agreements have been signed committing to make publicly-funded data available to the public. Learn more about government funding policies and what these policies mean for your research.
