Changes to Library Item Request Messages in "My Account"
As we continue to make improvements to service delivery within our new omni partnership, we are making a slight change to the messages you might receive in the “My Account” feature in omni when you place a request for an item. Beginning on March 6, 2020, requests for items that cannot be fulfilled from the University of Waterloo or Wilfrid Laurier libraries may temporarily be assigned a status of “locating an available copy.” Library staff will then convert your request for that item to a resource sharing request and send it to one of our other OMNI partners who will fulfill your request as soon as possible.
Patrons should see their request status change to “sent to partner” within 1-2 days.
