The Atrium - Institutional Repository Support
We provide technical support for researchers looking to preserve and disseminate their research outputs through the Atrium.
The Atrium is the University of Guelph's institutional repository – a digital service that collects, preserves, and distributes research outputs created at the University of Guelph. Repositories are important tools for preserving an organization's legacy; they facilitate digital preservation and scholarly communication.
The largest and most active collection contained in the Atrium is the University of Guelph Theses & Dissertations collection. You may request that we create a new collection in the Atrium; see New Collection Request Form.
We can help users with setting up an account and choosing an appropriate license to apply to their work. Depositing research into an institutional repository, like the Atrium, helps research receive greater attention and potential impact, encourages collaboration, maximises findability, and ensures preservation.
We can also assist you in depositing your work in other disciplinary repositories to meet open access requirements. See Open Scholarship Support for more on how the library is supporting open initiatives.
