Rose Murray is a Canadian food writer who has authored 11 cookbooks since 1979, as well as contributed to various newsstand publications. Gift of Rose Murray, this fonds consists of materials related to the career of Rose Murray, including manuscripts and research notes for her publications such as: A Taste of Canada, Hungry for Comfort, Quick Chicken, A Year in My Kitchen, and Cellar and Silver, among others. This fonds also includes publicity, newspaper clippings, reviews of her cookbooks, correspondence, original recipes and other contributions to various publications including Canadian Living, Elm Street, Homemaker's Magazine, Epicure, President's Choice Magazine, and others. It also includes Rose Murray’s work for various industry groups such as Foodland Ontario, as well as menus and ephemera from travel and culinary events.
