Using the Archives

While our building is closed, Archival & Special Collections is pleased to be able to offer limited no-cost archival reproduction services to University of Guelph faculty and students. External researchers are welcome to contact A≻ however, only requests for items already digitized can be fulfilled at this time.

How to use Archival & Special Collections

  1. Register with us in advance. Registration is open to currently registered students, staff, and faculty.

  2. Book an appointment to visit the Reading Room (Temporarily unavailable).

    • Appointments are available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m.
    • We will follow up with you for a research consultation to help you identify the materials you’d like to see during your appointment.
    • If you already know what you’d like to see, you can request the items. Please submit your request for materials by Wednesday of the week prior to your appointment.
  3. We are also pleased to be able to offer limited no-cost, digital archival reproduction services to University of Guelph faculty, staff, and students.
