Collection of journals, scrapbooks, accounts, mortgages, legal documents, correspondence of David Allan and Nathaniel Higinbotham families of Guelph.

David Allan was the son of William Allan, an original Guelph settler and mill owner. His daughter Margaret married Nathaniel Higinbotham, a local businessman and leading citizen.
