Wilkinson Family Papers

Collection of letters and documents relating to various members of the Wilkinson Family, early Huron Tract settlers in Sandwich, Upper Canada, including correspondence with T. Talbot.

John Alexander Wilkinson was the original settler.  He was a Surveyor and married Frances Hands at Sandwich in 1815.  Their children were William Henry Armit (b.1816), Mary Anne (b.1818), Francis (b.1820), Alexander John Armit (b.1820), William (b.1825), James hands (b.1829) and Julia (b.1832).  Wilhemia Lizars (Queenie) was married to Alexander Wilkinson.
