Collection of correspondence, clippings and interview transcripts relating to Ontario rural organizations from the 1920s to 1940s.  Topics mentioned include Ontario Older Boys' Parliament, Canadian Youth Congress, New Canada Movement, United Farmers and United Farm Young People of Ontario, folk schools, the Community Extension Service at Pickering College (Newmarket), Student Christian Movement at the University of Toronto, the National Farm Radio Forum of the C.B.C., Training Institute in Barrie and some activity at the Ontario Agricultural College during the 1920s to the 1940s. Among the individuals involved were Ethel Chapman, Agnes MacPhail, Leonard Harmon, R. Alex Sim, H. H. Hannan, Arthur Haas and Orville Shugg.
