Since 1945, the Citizens Theatre has been a flagship for Scottish Theatre. The company was founded by James Birdie in 1943 and became a permanent establishment two years later. This theatre presents both contemporary reimaginings of classic plays as well as new Scottish works.

This is a small collection of duplicated programs from the Scottish Theatre Archive at the University of Glasgow.
