Founded in 1972, Toronto Free Theatre was one of Toronto's leading alternative theatres with a reputation for presenting provocative and innovative work. In 1988 it merged with CentreStage to form the Canadian Stage Company. Materials in the fonds include performance files, programs, posters, publicity materials, reviews, photographs, technical drawings, scripts, set models, and administrative files.
