Exams are on the way, and that means, Exam Stress Busters are, too! In this article, we’ll highlight what to expect from the library during Exam Stress Busters and direct you to some great resources to help as you prepare for exams.
Ongoing Activities
The Activity Table (Library, first floor)
If you’re visiting the library, stop by the Activity Table on the library’s first floor. On the table you’ll find:
- Activity books filled with colouring pages, sudoku puzzles, crossword puzzles, study tips, and more.
- Colouring utensils
- Other takeaway items
The Affirmation Station (Library, first floor and Instagram)
- The Affirmation Station will be up on the first floor throughout the exam period and provides you with an opportunity to write a positive affirmation for yourself, or to share with others.
- If you aren’t in-person but want to participate, you can do so on the library’s Instagram page. Follow us to share an affirmation and read the ones others are sharing.
The Worry Box (Library, first floor)
- Everyone experiences worry, for a variety of reasons, exam time may bring up some of these feelings. The Worry Box is an opportunity for you to write down a worry and then drop it in the box to let it go.
The Postcard Project (Library-wide)
- If you’re studying in the library, you may find a postcard with a message of encouragement and coupon for a treat. We hope you find one and that it brightens your day.

Coffee, Tea & Healthy Snacks
- We’ll be supplying coffee, tea and a healthy snack for you to pick up as you start your day. Visit us on the first floor to grab a hot beverage and a snack.

Frosty's Hot Cocoa Spot
- Stop by the first floor of the library to have a hot chocolate (topped your way) with members of the CSA executive team!

Movement Breaks with Athletics
- Join us for a 10-minute movement break to relieve stress in your body and mind. We will guide you through a quick and effective stretch flow to release tension and reset before returning to your notes or as you unwind before calling it a night.
- Date: Offered from Wednesday, Dec. 4, to Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024
- Time: Varies
- Location: Library, Room 109
