Brewing History

Shortly after his arrival to Upper Canada in 1834, John H. Sleeman established the Stamford Spring Brewery in St. David's. Little did he know that this would mark the beginning of a long and prosperous tradition of the Sleeman family in the Canadian brewing industry. The following historical sketches highlight over 175 years of Sleeman brewing history.
