AI in Action on Campus Learning Exhange

You’re invited to take part in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Action on Campus: Learning Exchange! Join us on Thursday, March 26, 2026, for a single day event focused on using generative AI in higher education. “This day is about bringing our community together to learn from each other, in the same way libraries have always been a space to make sense of new information landscapes,” said Melanie Parlette-Stewart, head, Learning & Curriculum Support, McLaughlin Library. “We’re here to hear from the students, instructors, and staff who are already navigating generative AI, and to build the kind of shared understanding that helps everyone across our campus move forward with more confidence.”

What you can expect from the day

The one-day online exchange will highlight practical, experienced-based approaches to using generative AI across U of G – including examples of how faculty, staff, and students are using AI integration in their teaching, learning, and research. The day also aims to foster a community of responsible, ethical, and innovative practices.

All U of G faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us. Presenters include U of G faculty, staff, graduate students, and a special guest speaker, Greg Milligan, from Microsoft.
