Today Proquest’s EBook Central Reader app replaces Adobe Digital Editions for reading downloaded ebooks from the Ebook Central platform. The new app offers a more streamlined experience, supports EPUB and PDF formats, and is available on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. The initial release will support bookmarking; highlighting and notetaking will follow in future releases. While you’ll still use the Ebook Central website to search, read online, and choose books to download, the Ebook Central Reader App is only required when you want to download an entire book. The process for reading downloaded chapters has not changed; you can open downloaded chapters in any PDF-compatible reader.
You can download the Ebook Central Reader App on up to six devices from the Ebook Central website.
