Mark calculator stay on track this semester

Knowing where you stand in your courses is important. It helps you prioritize your efforts throughout the semester and come exam time. This is exactly why the mark calculator was created. It calculates your current grade in each of your courses, your semester average, and allows you to see what assignments you have coming up. The mark calculator also allows you to enter your desired grade and then tells you what you need to earn on your exam to achieve it.

Use the mark calculator as a semester planning tool

“The excel version allows students to save their information to revisit it throughout the semester as they receive grades back,” said Jason Dodd, learning specialist, Writing and Learning Services. “As soon as students receive their course outline, they can download an excel copy of the mark calculator and enter all assignments, quizzes, and exams in each course – using it as a planning tool.”

Due date tracker helps with prioritization of tasks

The due date tracker tab can sort assignments across course by their due date, allowing students to see what they have coming up that week. “This allows students to plan and prioritize their studying based on what’s coming up, how much it’s worth, and their current standing in each course,” said Dodd.
