The summer 2025 semester is here! Campus may feel quiet, but that doesn’t mean there’s less happening. The McLaughlin Library has so much to offer students, researchers, faculty and instructors this semester. We’re here to support your academics, research and teaching, year-round. 

Workshops happening this semester 

The library’s workshop calendar has been updated with a full slate of workshops and programming. Workshops and programs offered this semester include: 

  • Faculty Writing Retreat – May 5 to 9  

  • Data Skills (focusing on software like Qualtrics and ArcGIS) – Starts May 14 

Book an appointment 

Appointments are available throughout the summer months to all U of G students, faculty and staff. You can browse appointment types and book an appointment online. Appointment types include: 

  • Writing, research assistance, and English language support 

  • Working with data 

  • Studying, time management, and presentation skills 

  • Scholarship, publishing, and author supports 

  • Archival and special collections 

  • Library accessibility services 

  • Instruction and course support
