Ongoing Group Programming for U of G Students
Learn alongside your peers in Supported Learning Groups
Supported Learning Groups (SLGs) are peer-led study sessions held on a weekly basis. Available to students who are enrolled in supported courses, SLGs offer an opportunity to:
- Review course material and learn strategies to study effectively.
- Identify what you know and don’t know in the course.
- Gain confidence and stay motivated.
- Meet students in your classes and have fun studying.

Communities of practice
Open Education Community of Practice (New)
Are you interested in learning, sharing strategies and ideas, and building community around the use and advancement of open education at U of G? This community of practice will provide a space to do so.
Topics may include:
- Understanding copyright when using or creating open educational resources.
- Using open pedagogy in the classroom.
- Making existing course materials open.
- Investigating how generative AI impacts open practices.
