Student advisors are partners with the library’s user experience team providing input on pain points, gaps, and areas for improvement in the library from the student perspective. Students will provide feedback on the library’s annual student services fee report.
By joining this committee, student advisors will gain an understanding of the complexity of the academic library as an organization, learn basic techniques of user experience research, and contribute to the improvement of the library’s programs, services, and spaces.
Participation in 3-4 meetings in both the fall and winter semesters is required.
Undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply.
6-8 advisors will be accepted.
The committee will also include a representative from the CSA and GSA.
Recruitment for student advisors begins in late August. Stay tuned to this page for updates on how to join when recruitment is open.
