Pearson Family Student-Athlete Mentor (SAM) Program

The SAM Program enhances the academic performance of student-athletes by providing resources and assistance tailored to their unique needs. The program content is delivered by student-athlete mentors, who are upper year, academically successful student-athletes trained in learning strategies and referral.

SAM study sessions

SAM study sessions begin on Monday, January 9 and run at the following times and locations:

  • Monday to Thursday afternoons 12:00pm - 4:00pm in the Guelph Gryphon Athletics Centre, room 3213
  • Monday to Thursday evenings 4:00pm - 10:00pm in the Library, room 370
  • Monday to Thursday evenings 6:00pm - 10:00pm in the Library, room 300A and room 360
  • Please note that there are no Sunday sessions in the winter semester
